Luxury holidays in Dorset
Downwood is home to 11 luxury holiday lets, ranging from our impressive 8-bed Manor House to more intimate hideaways for two. The Manor House is perfect for group gatherings and special celebrations, including weddings. It can be booked on its own, or with our other properties for larger groups of guests. We also have several unique and quirky self-catering properties, including a treehouse and a converted stable. Nine of our properties have their own private hot tub and most of them are dog-friendly too.

Situated just outside the Georgian market town of Blandford Forum, there are plenty of attractions and amenities close by. There’s also plenty to do within a short drive from us – from fossil hunting on our iconic Jurassic coastline, fun days out with the whole family, visits to historic landmarks, nature walks and beach days, the list is endless. Literary enthusiasts will know this is Thomas Hardy country – the famous writer used many local towns as the setting for his novels.
